A Berlin message says that Lieutenant Sprenger was killed at Rastadt in a duel with pistols with Dr Bruening, an army surgeon. CRIMINAL BANKRUPTCY. A Cairo message says that George Zervudachi, a financier at Alexandria, has been sentenced, to two years' imprisonment for criminal bankruptcy. His liabilities totalled £2,700,000. THE GERMAN ARMY. The Budget Committee in the German Parliament adopted a now clause in the army law increasing the army by two army crops. THE OSBORNE JUDGMENT. Mr Asquith in the House of Commons announced that he would introduce before Whitsuntide a' Bjll reversing the Osborne judgment. MILITARY AEROPLANES. LONDON, May 3. The Government has ordered already twenty aeroplanes and has authorised the purchase of thirty more. MIXED MARRIAGES IN SAMOA. BERLIN, May 3. ■ During a discussion on the Samoan estimates in the Reichstag, Dr Solf, formerly Governor of Samoa, reiterated his. opposition to marriages of natives with whites. He said that the whole country would thank the Reichstag if it prevented mixed marriages.
