[Per Press Association.] TIAIARU, September 14._ The Supreme Court concluded its sittings here to-day, two cases which were to have been heard being settled out of Court. In one, Aloses v. Townley, a suit for specific performance of a contract to purchase land at Ashburton, the defendant agreed to pay £2OO, each party to pay' his own costs, and the plaintiff to retain the property. In the other case, Ryan v. Byrne,- a suit for dissolution of partnership and accounts in connection with an hotel business, the defendant undertook to indemnify the plaintiff against the liabilities of the partnership, tho plaintiff assigning all his interest in the partnership, freehold and assets,, to defendant, in consideration of a sum agreed upon.
