4 . [From Our Correspondent. l DUNEDIN, Octobei- 20. H. Hewson, of Pukerau, pleaded guilty at Gore yesterday to selling three bottles of whisky on August 26, on the occasion of a, dance in the neighbourhood. Mr M'Ennip, S.M., said that, in view of the fact that Hewson had pleaded guilty, thereby not committing perjury, and not urging others to do so on his behalf, he would inflict lie light penalty of £lO.
