ENTERTAINMENTS
* A very successful "junk tea" was held" in Sfe Patrick's S.ehpplrppm on Tuesdayevening, to raise funds in aid of the school and Christchurch Catholic Club funds. The V'Car-General, Father Le Menant des Chesnais, presided,' and injury of the clergy were present. Musical selections wers given by Derry's and Geogehan's ' Bands, and by Mrs Mead, Miss Bryant and; Messrs Peterson and M'Kay. Considerable amusemmit was furnished by the nail-driving cad. hat-trimining competitions, and; a gpod deal of enthusiasm wast roused by the elections of the ihost popular people. The club and school funds should, benefit considerably by the entertainment..
