' A match" was played at . Lyttelton on Saturday’ between teams representing -the Sydenham and Addington Club and'thO local club. After a very pleasant 'game, Lyttelton won by 96 to 86 runs, ■ For Lyttelton, Just 30, Sinclair 17, Smith; ' M and LeVin 11 were the chief run-getters, while, for Sydenham, Hepburn 13, Hally 13 and'Wright .'ll did best. MTnerney and ' Just for Lyttelton, 1 and Wright, Hadfield, Mallock and Wilshire for Sydenham did the bowling. ’ ; vThe final match of the season in connection with the Ashley County Association, ' between Woodend and Amberley, was , played on Saturday on the Eecreation Ground, Woodend, and resulted in a win for the former by three wickets on the first innings. The following are the scores :: —Woodend, 130 for seven wickets; W. ‘H. Uru 70, D. C. Shilton 16, Alex. Judson 15 not out and J. Judson 10. Amberley, 125; H. Mason 36, C. Mason 31, .H. Ensor 16 and Dr Fitzhenry 15. W. H. Uru, B. and A. Judson for Woodend, and T. Mason, for Amberley were the most « successful bowlers.
