A POLICE RAID.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Sept. 7. The police raided Tekuiti on Alouday morning, after travelling all night from Cambridge, and surprised the residents. They seized a large quantity of liquor, a waggon loaded with demijohns of whiskey, Ac., being driven to Hamilton. A large number of prosecutions will follow. Further whisky raids in the King Country are contemplated by the police.
