Dairy Cows.—A number of, nice milch cows were yarded, but, owing to the lateness of the hour at which the sale started, most of the dairymen had left, and very little business was done. Fat Sheep.— The week’s supply consisted of between 4000 and 5000 head. The quality all round was fairly even. There was an absence of prime cross-bred weths's, and very few freezers were included in the entry, which embraced a few pens of good merino wethers. Prices opened at well up to last week’s rates, but aa the sale progressed values fell to below those ruling a week or two ago. Messrs H.
