TRAM-DRIVERS.

TO THE EDITOB. Sib,—-I was very much pleased to sea the letter of "Sympathiser” with reference to the matter of the tram enginedrivers. It is quite time something was done to protect these men against the dangers they are exposed to in cold and wet weather. It is to be hoped that the management will see their way to afford the drivers some shelter, otherwise serious consequences to their health, as pointed out by “ Sympathiser,” may ensue. While on the subject of tramway management, I might suggest that larger lamps might be placed on the front of engines, the present lights being very inadequate.—l am, &0., TRAVELLER.
