[Pee Peess Association.] WESTPORT, Nov. 20. Mr Dillon arrived by the Mawhera at five o’clock this morning and was received by a large assemblage of Home Rule sympathisers. At noon he was presented with addresses on behalf of the general sympathisers with the Irish National League and of Colonial born sympathisers. Mr Dillon made a suitable reply: Mr Dillon addressed a crowded meeting at the Palace Rink Hall this evening. Mr O’Conor, M.H.R., was the Chairman, and the Reception Committee were on the platform. The speech was moderate in tone, and was received with enthusiasm. The collection made in the room for the Tenants’ fund resulted in the sum of .£195, and the takings at |the door wore nearly .£IOO, Mr O’Conor headed the subscription with a donation of £2O. Mr Dillon leaves for Eeefton to-morrow forenoon.
BLENHEIM, Nov. 20. Sir T. Esmonde addressed a good meeting last night. The result of his visit to Blenheim is over £IOO. There is much disappointment at Mr Dillon’s not coming
