GIBBSTON.

(From our correspondent.) Arbor Day wag hold hero on Friday last, when there were a good many trees planted, The usual pionio for the children was also held. Refreshments of various kinds were provided by the school committee and ladies. At night the arbor dance was held, and was largely attended. First-class music was provided by Mr Peter Chalmers (violin), and Mr P. Enright, jnn., made an efficient M.C. Mrs A. Scott sang during the evening. The usual tea and oaks were provided.
