THE WHEELS OF JUSTICE.
Police Court, Arrowtown. Wednesday. September 4. (Before Messrs H. M'Kibbin and P. de la Perrelle, J.’b P.) Tin Pah, a Chinese, was charged with (1) Vagrancy, and (3) Theft of onions. Accused pleaded not guilty to the first charge. After hearing evidence of Constable Melville, the Bench convicted accused and ordered him to come up for sentence when called on. The other charge was withdrawn.
