SHOOTING MATCH.
The final match for the year for the Hallenstein clock was fired on the-local range on Easter Monday. Fine, weather prevailed and some good shooting was done. Conditions were :: Best three scores out of five. The; clock is held for the year, and the winner on each occasion receives a gold medal suitably inscribed. This year's winner is Private John Jenkins,, wbose scores were 94, 86, 87—total 267. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yds with seven shots at eaoh. The final match carried with it prizes. Thefirst a trophy presented by Mr S. Simmonds valued at £1; and the second a vernier presented by Lieut. J. T. Mc Bride valued at 15s. Scores:— 200 500 600 yds. yds. yds. Hep. Tl Pte. J. S..
