MINING.
On Monday the official opening of the Criffel Lead Sluicing Company took place. The secretary of the company, Mr E. Trythall, several directors, and a number of local residents were present, and the function was a very successful one. The property is considered to be a very valuable one, and we hope ere long to chronicle some substantial returns.
