THIGH BROKEN
SLIP ON RAILS. ACCIDENT NEAR'LIME WORKS. ELDERLY MAN'S MISFORTUNE. As the result of slipping while engaged in shunting operations at th« Agricultural Lime Works on Friday last, Mr. P. G. C. PattOn, aged about 68, is now in the Waikato Hospital with a broken thigh. Mr. Patton, who is works manager "' at the Agricultural Lime Works, was getting off a truck preparing for shunting when he slipped on the rails and fell, breaking the bone in his thigh. After he had been taken to the Te Kuiti Hospital an ambulance was sent down to take him to the . Waikato Hospital, where he is now receiving treatment.
