. o SEARANGKE SHIELD. The Searancke Shield game played between Aria and West Coast, ended without either side scoring. Miln, Porteous and Ringa played well for Coast, and Keighley and Opie for Aria.
KING COUNTRY TEAM; TO PLAY WANGANUI. The following players have been selected to represent the King Country Rugby Union in a match against Wanganui at Wanganui on Saturday, August 12:— Full-back: Schroeder (Taumarunui). Three-quarters: Richards (Maniapoto), Francis (Ohura), Hardie (Ruapehu). Five-eighths: Crossman (Ohura), Cameron (Otorohanga). Half-back: Mossman (Ohura). Forwards.—Back Row: Willison (Maniapoto). Middle Row: Hancox (Ruapehu. Woods (Taumaruni), Trusttum (Ohura), Powell (Taumarunui). Front Row: Coffin (Maniapoto), R. Davis (Maniapoto), Waretini (Otorohanga). Reserves: Back, Rush (Ruapehu); forward, Lane (Kaitieke).
