BADMINTON

TE KUITI v. ARAWA CLUB. A team from the Te Kuiti Badminton Club visited Hamilton on Saturday to play the Arawa Club team. The Arawa team won by nine games, 217 points, to three games, 142 points. A most enjoyable evening was spent, and an invitation to the Arawa Club to pay a return visit to Te Kuiti was extended by Mr. F. Sparks. The Te Kuiti team spent the night in Hamilton and returned the following day. The following were the results, Te Kuiti players being mentioned first. Men’s Doubles.—R. Seccombe and F. Sparks 21, v.
