Mr. R. D. Ward, of the staff of the Bank of New Zealand, Otorohanga, for the past five years, has been transferred, on promotion, to the Pukekohe branch, where he assumes his new duties on May 1.
The engagement s announced of Winifred, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Symes, of Otewa Road, Otorohanga, to David Keith, fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Munro, of Te Waitere, Kawhia.
Mr. G. Robinson has left Te Kuiti on transfer to Hamilton, and his place in the Public Trust Office has been taken by Mr. J. Beatty, formerly of Taumarunui.
