WEATHER REPORTS

REPETITION EVERY 23 YEARS. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 11.45 a.m.) Cambridge (Massachusetts) Nov. 20. That the weather everywhere substantially repeats itself every 23 years is a discovery announced by Dr. Charles Abbot, who has devoted the last 30 years to research in the connection between the activities of the sun and the weather. It is believed that Dr. Abbot’s discovery has substantiated the method of long range weather forecasting as practicable. Next year’s world’s weather will be the same as in 1911, and this year’s weather re-experienced in 1956.
