LARGE NUMBER OF WOMEN EMPLOYED. 200 FATALITIES IN YEAR. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 10.15 a.m.) Calcutta, November 20. Over 204,600 were employed daily in Indian mines last year, a decrease of 26,000 as compared with the previous year. The workers included 38,207 women of whom over half were employed underground. Fatal accidents occurred during the year in which 182 men and 18 women were killed.
