LADY CYNTHIA MOSLEY’S TOMB.

The preparation of a sunken garden tomb for Lady Cynthia Mosley, wife of Sir Oswald Mosley, has been begun

at Savehay Farm, Denham. The site is in a wood near her old home. Sir Edwin Lutyens has designed a circle approximately 100 ft. in diameter, falling in three terraces to a small central circle, in which will be a sarcophagus. Low sloping walls of golden Travertine stone will bank the sides of the sunken terraces, and the sarcophagus will be in the same kind of stohe. It is expected that the work will take from six to eight weeks. The coffin, since Lady Cynthia Mosley’s death last May, has rested in a private chapel at Cliveden.
