TE KUITI LAWN TENNIS CLUB.
The committee of lithe above club met in the Chronicle office on Tuesday evening last, Mr Webber presiding. Letters were received from the King Country Lawn Tennis Assoc iationn with reference to tho annual meeting; also asking the local club to appuint a vice-cresident to represent the c'ub on the list, of the Association's officers. —It was resolved that Messrs Matthew arid Kelso be ask ed to attend tho annual meeting to be held at Taumaruriui. Accounts amounting to £l2 0s Gd were passed for payment. Seventeen new memher3 were elected. The following sub-committee was appointed to draw up club rules:— Messrs Ilarton, Robinson, N. C. Matthew, the president, and secetary, The following were appointed a Bubcommittee to promote club competitions: —The president, secretary, and Mr Smerdon. It was resolved that a man be employed to water and roll the courta every Saturday morning. Resolved that umpire's chairs and steps be obtained for the court 3. Resolved that benches be provided for the ladies' and men's dressing rooms in the pavilion. An invitation was received from the Te Awamutu Club to take cart in their opening to we held on October 26th.
