TE KUITI PUBLIC SCHOOL.

TO THE EDITOR. . Sir, —I should very much like to know when school is to open again. Three months have now passed since the alterations were projected, and judging by appearances the work will not be completed before the Christmas holidays. We have an energetic school committee here, and it is about time they took the matter in hand and moved things along. This delay is most unfair to the - teachers, who have to present their scholars for examination early in March next, to say nothing of the injustice done to the children through such a prolonged holiday—l am, etc., PARENT. - Te Kuiti, 27/11/06.
