The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Hamilton, report as follows : At Ohaupo on Tuesday. November 20th, we held our second bull sale, and immediately afterwards offered 1140 head of cattle of all classes. Eightyseven well-bred bulls were eagerly sought after, especially 18-month and 2-year-olds, this class realising £7 7s to £lO ios ; choice yearlings, £9 9s to £l2 I2s ; forward conditioned bullocks (4-year-pld), £6 15s to £7 8s; fresh 3 and 2Ji-yearrold steers, £5 Is to £5 Iss ; 2%-yeaV steers,£4 ssto£4 18s; 2-year steers, £3 10 to £3 17s 6d ; 15 to 10-months,.£2 ios to £3 3s ; strong yearlings, £l 18s to £2 ss; 18-month to 2 - year-old heifers, £2 ios to £2 17s 6d. At Ngaruawahia on the 23rd November, all lines sold well. Thirty fat and forward steers brought £5 15s to £8 5s ; fat cows, £5 to £7 ss; 3-year steers, £5 2s 6d to £5 10s; iVz year steers, £3 8s to £4 5s ; 15 and 18months steers, £2 15s to £3 6s ; mixed yearlings, £l 17s to £2 2s ; dairy cows and heifers, £4 ios to £5 ss.
