The monthly meeting of the Kai koura County Council will be hold on Friday next. 'rhe County Council invites tender* for renovation wonk at the Council Chambers. The Kaikou'ra Basketball Club will hold a wind-up dance in the Drill Hall on Saturday, December 12. Members of the Kai koura, Labour Party are reminded that a meeting of the executive will be held at the Drill Hall at 7.30 this evening. Mr and Mrs George Walter, -who have been on a visit to Dunedin, arrived in Kaikoura on Saturday afternoon and intend proceeding to thefir home in the Waikato to-day.
