DEATH SENTENCE
> , COMMUTED TO IMPRISONMENT FOR LIFE PERTH, November 17. The death sentence on Michael O’Sullivan for the wilful murder of his seven-year-old son was to-day commuted to imprisonment for life. The evidence disclosed that O’Sullivan took the boy out in his car and shot him because he was mentally de- ; ficient and incurable, and a great strain on his mother. He then brought the corpse back to the police station and gave himself up.
