GOVERNMENT CAUCUS

KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH THE COUNTRY. WELLINGTON, November 17. There will be a caucus of the Government party at Wellington on Tuesday morning, The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hou. M. J. Savage, said to-day that no particular significance attached to the caucus being held during the recess. Sjuch meetings would be hold periodically during the recess ami would enable the Government to keep closely in touch with the whole of the Dominion. Members of the party would be able to submit reports regarding the undertakings in their respective , electorates, and this would enable Cabinet to be fully informed of the situation throughout the country.
