BUTTER AND CHEESE.
Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., have received a cable message from London, dated 9th instant, as follows: New Zealand cheese: Market steady, 84/ to 86/. Butter: Market firm, 170/ to 172/. Messrs A. H. ’Turnbull and Co. advise that there has been a slight increase in the demand for frozen shipments of butter, buyers showing more interest in May-June shipments.
