HYDRO-ELECTRIC POWER.
DECISION DEFERRED FOR A MONTH. Mr A. J. Murray, a member of the Marlborough Power lloard, telegraphed this morning, stating that at the meeting of the Power Board last night, it was decided to hold over decision regarding the Waihopai and Clarence rivers as generating sources for hydroelectric purposes, for a month. He asks that a meeting of the petitioners and others be held this week, for the purpose of further considering the matter.
