NEW EQUIPMENT

SUPPLIES FOR HOSPITALS WAIHI AND THAMES Ministerial approval to the purchase of electric kitchen equipment for Thames and Waihi hospitals has been received by the Thames Hospital Board and that information was placed before the July meeting of the board. The estimated cost of the equipment wae £426 and the items were as follow: Slicer, £140; shredder, £6l; mixer, £140; mincer, £l2 and vegetable and potato peeler, £73. Members of the board expressed approval that the equipment was being made available to assist in the working of the hospitals.
