VEHICLES COLLIDE
ACCIDENT AT HIKUTAIA INCIDENT ON WEDNESDAY A collision occurred near the Pioneer Hotel, Hikutaia, on Wednesday between a truck driven by Mr C. Burgess of Paeroa and a car driven by Mr S. Wyborne of Te Aroha. The car was travelling along the Paeroa-Thames main highway while the truck was coming out of the side road near the Pioneer Hotel. * The truck was considerably daniaged but the car was able to proceed under its own power. Fortunately nobody was injured.
