DOUBLE SHOOT
RIFLEMEN AT KOMATA CONDITIONS WERE TRICKY Riflemen gathered in good numbers on the range at Komata last Saturday to compete for the Paeroa Defence Rifle Club’s shoot. A double shoot was conducted at the 200 yards range. In the morning conditions were tricky but from mid-day onwards the light became (better with the improving weather conditions. There was accordingly a noticeable improvement in the shooting. The scoring was relatively high which in many cases way much better than in previous performances. This was especially noticeably amongst new members. Details of the scores are as follows: J. Johansen, score 91, handicap 8, total 99; P. Swetman, 85, 12, 97; V. Sherson, 86, 9, 95; G.
