WAITAKARURU DOMAIN IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED Advice that the Waitakaruru Domain Board proposed to carry out improvements to the Waitakaruru Domain of a value of over £lOO was received at the November meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council by the secretary of the board, Mr R. A race track suitable for horse sports events is being laid down this summer. The estimated expenditures are: Tennis courts, £3O; parking area, £2O; race track, £5O; improvements to drainage, £7 10s.” The matter was referred to the .’bmain committee for a report.
