The secretary reported that the wiring of the hall had been completed, and it was now ready for the electric light to be connected. It was resolved to run a series of card evenings to raise funds to assist in the purchase of a “Ziptp” heater for the kitchen of the hall, it being realised that a number of the residents who use the hall for meetings l and other gatherings would share the benefit of the electric water heater in the serving of refreshments.
The secretary was instructed to send letters of congratulation on their marriage to Brother and Sister Perfect, and Sisters Pat Rae and Rene Hicks.
After the lodge prayer had been read, a social hour was spent round the supper table.
