PRESENTATION MADE

WAITAKARURU FOOTBALL CLUB MR & MRS STEWART HONOURED The Waitakaruru Football Club held a dance in the Waitakaruru Hall ■which was well patronised by the younger set, dancers from many districts being present. The Kerepeehi Rythm Ramblers supplied the music with Mr E. Duffin acting as MU. 'Supper was served by the Girls’ iSocial Committee of the club, and following this the president, Mr M. Leonard, made a presentation to Mr and Mrs W. Stewart in recognition of the support which the club had always received from them. Mr Stewart briefly thanked the club for the gift and expressed the hope that Mrs Stewart and he would see some of their friends when they visit Ngaruawahia. The monte carlo was won by Miss M. Henry and Mr B. Otter and the snowball dance by Miss H. Stretton and Mr G. White.
