GOLDFIELD’S GUN CLUB M® DON graJfflA&T HONOURED The monthly meeting of the Goldfield’s Gun Club was held recently when there was a good attendance of members, as well as sportsmen from surrounding clubs. By special invitation Mr Don 'Stewart was present and during the afternoon was- the recipient of a hanging mirror, presented to him by club members. Ah apology was received for the absence of Mfrs iSitewart. Mr E. C. Thomasen, club captain, in making the presentation, spoke of Mr Stewart’s cordial relationship with the club and! his gerenosty in many matters. He expressed regret that Mr Stewart was leaving the district, but wished him success in his new venture.

■Mfr Stewart feelingly thanked the members for the thoughtfulness shown him and said it would always his policy as a business man to support all sporting clubs.
