WORK ON TE KAURI NO. 2 LAYING BACK OF DRAIN BANK At the April meeting of the Hauraki United Drainage Board the chairman, Mr C. K. Fox, stated that Te Kauri No. 2 drain was in need of laying back for three quarters of a mile. This was work which would need a dredge to handle and he asked whether the board were in favour of doing this work while machines were in the district. The drain, he said, was not working as satisfactorily as it should. The tion of cost with power to act. Messrs Fox, R. B.
