PECULIAR TIDE
NOTICED AT TAIRUA FISHERMANS EXPERIENCE A peculiarity of the tide was noticed recently at Tairua, when a local fisherman who was pushing his boat into the water found himself surrounded by water about two feet deep. In a few minutes the boat was high and dry again. This happened several times suddenly. >
