SUPPORT IN PAEROA

TIROHIA-TAHUNA ROAD REQUEST FROM SPRINGDALE In response to a request from the Springdale branch of the Farmers’ Union it was agreed at the last meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce to support the proposal for the completion of the Tirohia-Tahuna road. This would bring Springdale within approximately 12 miles of Paeroa. The proposed road, it was stated, would open up a track of farming country and would give better access to the existing settlers.
