This is the final of the series of old-time dances which have been held every month during the last few winters to help raise patriotic funds. The Paeroa Melody Makers Dance Band has been engaged, and, Mr G. Vercoe is arranging a special programme for the occasion, including the veleta, two-step, three-step, la rinka, threesome reel, maxina, etc., as well as several novelties such as medleys, the slipper waltz, Monte Carlo waltz, and the more mod'ern but popular hokey tokey. As usual, the duties of M.C. will be in the capable hands of Mr W. Pirie, while the ladies of the committee have arrangements well in hand for a delightful savoury supper. Thus, with good music, efficient control, and an inviting supper a really happy evening is assured.
