LIQUOR NEAR DANCE INCIDENT IN WHITIANGA While on relieving duly in 'the disfriel, Constable J. Williamson, of Thames, found a man with a bottle of wine near the Whitianga dance hall. The sequel was the imposition of a fine of £2/10/- on William Lowebittehor, of Whitianga, by Mr W. JI. Freeman, S.M., in the Thames 'Magistrate's Court to-day. The police isaid Lowe had said the wine was not his. and a summons had not yet been served, on another man who had said the bottle belonged to him.
