HIKUAI HALL BOARD

PERSONNEL GAZETTED OUTLINE OF DUTIES The vesting of control of a section at the Hikuai settlement in the Hikuai Public Hall Board is gazetted. The board consists of Betty Kathleen Ogston, Hannah Morrison, Pakanae Morrison, Marjorie Charlotte Morrison, John Robert McCall, William Henry Morrison, John Charles Prescott, George Ernest Coxon and William Frederick Ogston. Conditions under which the board is set up are also gazetted. It is required to meet on the third Tuesday of the month in February, May, August and November each year, and the first meeting will be on February 20, when a chairman will be elected. The board will control the reserve and the ’building erected thereon for the purposes of a public hall, and shall also afford settlers and residents of Hikuai and the surrounding district such facilities for meeting within the hall as may from time to time be determined by the board.
