PERSONAL

Mr and Mrs E. D. Morgan, of Hamilton East, spent a few days’ holiday in Coromandel and were the guests of Mr and Mrs Lucas, Kapanga road, Coromandel.

Tpr. R. R. Smith and Spr. S. Kirk, both returned recently to New Zealand after serving for over three years 1 with the Middle East Forces. They are on furlough at Mercury Bay. A.'B. Malcolm Niccol and his wife returned to Auckland after spending leave at Whitianga.

At the December meeting of the Coromandel Council Council, Mr E. Deeble was elected as delegate to attend a conference of the Post-War National Development Regional Committee to be held on Thames in the near future.
