HELP FROM MR J. THORN, M.P.

PARTS FOR COUNTY GRADER

“That the appreciation of this council be placed on record for the prompt and helpful response by Mr J. Thorn, M.P. for Thames, in getting the matter expedited in regard to the parts l required foi* the grader,” was a resolution carried at the December meeting of the Coromandel County Council.

The above was the outcome of a letter from Hon. W. Nash, actingMinister of Supply, stating that the parts required for the grader had been cabled for and given priority of shipment to New Zealand. The resolution was proposed by the chairman, Mi - E. E. Deeble, and seconded by Cr. A. Watkins and carried.
