SOLDIERS’ MEMORIAL PARK

AREA AT WHITIANGA

A letter was received at the December meeting of the Coromandel County Council from the trustees of the Soldiers’ Memorial Park at Whitianga in which they offered to cede the park to the council for administration.

It was proposed by Cr. A. Watkins and seconded by Cr. T. E. Simpson “that the council accept responsibility for the park, the property to be vested in the council.
