CHRISTMAS PARTY
COROMANDEL ODDFELLOWS VERY ENJOYABLE EVENING The members' of the Hauraki Lodge. Coromandel, held then - usual Christmas party after the meeting on December 18. A gaily decorated Christmas tree was in evidence and Father Christmas himself arrived in a sleigh drawn by a reindeer.
After everyone had received a gift at the hands of Father Christmas, he left to replenish his bag with gifts for a big family elsewhere.
A bountiful supper was very much enj'oyed after which dancing and games took place.
The 'presence of members of the three services, Navy, Air and Army, helped to add 1 to the fun when the mistletoe was discovered hanging in various places in the hail.
A very happy evening was spent by the 50-odd members and their guests of the services. “Auld 'Lang Syne” concluded the party.
