HOSPITAL DRAINAGE SYSTEM
POSITION AT MERCURY BAY
That he considered the drainage system at the Mercury Bay Hospital was unsatisfactory, and as there were certain defects, a recurrence of past trouble might be expected, said a report received from Mr T. W. Adams, health inspector, by the Thames Hospital Board at its December meeting.
Mr Adams outlined certain work which he suggested should be done. “A satisfactory drainage system must be regarded as essential for an institution of this nature, and I therefore recommend that the work mentioned be completed as soon as possible,” said Mr Adams.
The board decided to obtain a report on the matter from local representatives.
