MILITARY DEFAULTERS

DEPRIVED OF CIVIL RIGHTS The resolution recently passed' by the New Zealand Returned Services Association that military defaulters should be deprived of civil rights for ten years, that they should be held in detention camps until 12 months after termination of hostilities or until such time as all' men and women from overseas have been rehabilitated and that they should be debarred l from employment in any Government department or any institution maintained by the money of taxpayers, was supported at the meeting'of the committee of the Paeroa-Hauraki Returned Services Association held on Tuesday evening. It was agreed that a copy, of the resolution be telegraphed to Messrs J. Thorn and A. S. Sutherland, M’s.P.
