TELEPHONE EXCHANGE
OPINION IN MANGATARATA
Opposition to the proposal of a central telephone exchange for the Hau raid Plains was voiced’ 'by the Mangatarata branch of the New Zealanc Harmers’ Union.
“At the present time this branch is not in favour of the exchange ibeing moved from Waitakaruru,” stated the secretary, Mr W. Buchanan.
