ACCIDENT ON BUSH ROAD

COROMANDEL MEN IN HOSPITAL

When their car left the road and rolled some 2'oo feet down a bank, two Coromandel .men were seriously injured on Monday. They were: — Mr W. 'Hamilton, miner, of Coromandel, driver of the car. Mr Eric. Vance, of Coromandel, a passenger. The car was proceeding along a bush road on the main Tokatea range at about 10’ a.m. on Monday when it ran over the bank and rolled some 200 feet down the slope. The car was a total wreck as a result of the accident.

Both men were taken to the Coromandel Hospital and Mr Hamilton was later removed to the Thames 'Hospital, his condition being serious.

Mr Vance suffered concussion and is still an inmate of the Coromandel Hospital.
