HORSE SPORTS
MEETING IN PAEROA FIXTURE ON 'RACECOURSE Excellent entertainment is promised at the Patriotic Picnic Horse Sports Meeting to be held on the Paeroad Racecourse on Saturday. The programme which will open az 11 a.m. sharp consists of 13 events including novelty and steer riding competitions. All events are post entry. According to enquiries from horse ‘ owners some of the best stock of the district will be competing and the numbers in each events are sure to make the day interesting. ■Hot water will 'be- provided for those picnicking at the meeting and admission will be ladies Is, gentlemen 2s, school children 6d and cars Is. The proceeds from the fixture are for; the 1943 All-Purposes Patriotic Fund.
